Hendry Perez Pascual, MD

Dr. Hendry Perez-Pascual graduated with honors from the Institute of Medical Sciences of Havana, Cuba in 2005. In 2009, he immigrated to the U.S in a quest for freedom and to advance his knowledge and skills and provide care to California’s undeserved communities. He joined the UCLA Family Medicine Residency Training for three years where he was a Chief Resident from July 2016 to June 2017.

He received the “2017 STFM Resident Teacher Award” for his commitment and interests in teaching. Dr. Perez-Pascual is currently part of the core faculties at the Rio Bravo Residency Program teaching the Next Generation of Family Physicians, and he is looking forward to lessening California’s Latino Physician Shortage.

Hobbies: Beyond medicine, Dr. Pascual enjoys salsa dancing, Cyber world, and traveling.

Special Interests: Addiction Medicine, Medical Education, Clinical Informatics, and Full-spectrum of Family Medicine.
